31) 12 step programme

So, here we are. Our beloved festival of activity and excuses is drawing to a close and 31 days have been jogged, logged and blogged. A huge well done to all involved in Janathon - starters, finishers and side-lined family members.

Upon reading about the potential effects of janatholism, my good friend and keen Janathon supporter/widow, Mrs Lumpy Badger, commented,

There's a twelve step program to help with this sort of thing. The second step is February...

I'm just not sure if I'm ready to go cold turkey though. The withdrawal symptoms could be worse than the potential effects of pursuing this for another month. For our own health and sanity, I'd like to propose we continue on with:

febtathlon2

Febtathlon? No? Too pink?

Well, I guess this is it then. *Sob*

Thank you, Cathy; thank you, blog writers; thank you, blog readers; and thank you, Ron.

It has been a blast.

  3. I'll do Febulous or Febtathlon?
Who needs a 12 step programme? I've become and addict.
I'm addicted to jogging, logging and blogging every single day.
There you go - step 1 - admitting you have a problem ;)

  4. I'm with Maggiee here with the sobs and sniffs ... it has been an enjoyable journey of exercise (when I didn't feel like it) and blogging (a new experience) which kept me 'honest' and kept me going.

Much like an addict going through withdrawal ... I'll certainly miss the blogs, and stories, the support, and the cakes!

Anyone going to keep the blogging up ... perhaps weekly updates?!?
